Mārama Consulting is a Community Interest Company. This means we are set up as a Social Enterprise; a business that carries on a trade which generates income and has a social purpose.
We were formed with an unusual business model where profits are donated to charity.
We believe in being transparent and straightforward about our business and the way we do business.
We commit to publishing our full accounts each year and you can find our first year’s accountshere.
Our consultants do not receive a salary and are only paid as and when they deliver work for clients. We pay around half of the consulting fees to our consultants and have minimal overheads.
As a result, in our first period of trading we were able to donate £10,000 to Cove Park, an arts organisation in Scotland.
